LCA4BIO Holds Its 6th General Assembly to Review Project Progress

On 21 October 2026, the LCA4BIO consortium came together online for its 6th General Assembly, bringing partners together to review the progress made in recent months, exchange updates and discuss the next steps in the project.

The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on the work carried out so far, share developments across the project and ensure that partners remain aligned on upcoming activities and priorities.

Throughout the day, discussions covered the overall progress of LCA4BIO, recent technical developments and the ongoing work to advance life cycle assessment (LCA) methodologies for bio-based systems. Partners also reviewed upcoming milestones and addressed key aspects of project coordination, helping to maintain a shared overview of the project’s direction and objectives.

Beyond the technical updates, the meeting also highlighted the importance of communication, dissemination and exploitation in ensuring that the project’s work and results reach relevant stakeholders. Sharing knowledge, raising awareness and fostering collaboration with the wider bio-based community remain essential to maximising the project’s impact.

The General Assembly concluded with an open discussion, giving consortium members the opportunity to exchange perspectives, raise questions and coordinate their efforts for the months ahead.

By bringing partners together to review progress and strengthen collaboration, the 6th General Assembly marked another important step in LCA4BIO’s journey towards supporting a more environmentally sustainable European bioeconomy.
