The LCA4BIO consortium successfully held Part 2 of its 5th Co-Creation Workshop, bringing together project partners and stakeholders to continue the discussion on the Job Creation Potential (JCP) methodology within Social Life Cycle Assessment (S-LCA).
Building on the foundations presented during the first session, this workshop adopted a more interactive format, encouraging participants to engage in an open discussion on the opportunities, challenges, and practical applications of JCP in sustainability assessments.
The session provided a space for exchanging perspectives on how employment impacts can be measured across product life cycles and how social indicators can complement environmental assessments to support more holistic decision-making.
Through these co-creation activities, LCA4BIO continues to promote collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers, industry representatives, and other stakeholders, contributing to the development of robust methodologies for assessing the sustainability of bio-based products and processes.
