LCA4BIO holds its 4th General Assembly in Toulouse

The LCA4BIO project successfully held its 4th General Assembly in the vibrant city of Toulouse, France, gathering all consortium partners to review the progress achieved across work packages and plan the upcoming project milestones.

Throughout the meeting, each team presented the latest developments within their respective work packages, fostering an open and constructive exchange on methodologies, case studies, communication strategies, and project management. The discussions helped identify synergies across activities and reinforced collaboration among partners.

A highlight of the event was the joint internal workshop with the ESCEIB project, where both consortia explored common challenges and collaboration opportunities related to Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of bio-based systems. This session provided a valuable platform for sharing experiences and complementary approaches toward advancing a more sustainable bioeconomy.

In addition, partners took part in an exploitation workshop, focused on strategies for valorising project results and identifying pathways for the use and transfer of the tools developed within LCA4BIO.

To conclude the assembly, participants enjoyed a guided tour starting from the historic Donjon du Capitole and the Square Charles de Gaulle, discovering Toulouse’s cultural landmarks and vibrant atmosphere.

The General Assembly was not only a moment to assess progress but also an opportunity to strengthen LCA4BIO’s collaborative spirit and reaffirm the consortium’s commitment to advancing sustainable, science-based solutions for Europe’s bio-based sectors.
